Ready to feel strong and confident?

In "The Ostomy Surgery Recovery Guide" self-paced course, I teach you how to feel empowered as you physically recover from your surgery.

You're not alone.

Ostomy surgery is overwhelming. There's a lot of information to learn about your stoma and managing your ostomy appliance.

It's also uncomfortable or even painful to move around after surgery. Your abdomen can feel heavy and tight. And you might not be moving as well as you once did.

I know because I've been there, as someone living with an ostomy. And as a hospital-based Occupational Therapist, I work with clients who are struggling with these exact issues. Helping clients feel confident as they begin to gain strength and become active again after surgery is my passion!

So, how can I help?

I’m going to give you the information, tools and strategies to trust your body, and to feel strong enough that you can start participating in your favorite activities again without hesitation.

Have Questions?

When does the course start?

The pre-recorded videos and workbook are available immediately after you purchase the course!

How long will the course materials be available? Am I able to download them?

You will have lifetime access to the course materials (course platform is subject to change). You will be able to download all handouts but not the videos.

Does this material only apply to ostomy surgery?

The majority of the content applies to *all* abdominal surgeries, colostomy, ileostomy, urostomy, ostomy takedown, and ileal pouch. Many of the strategies will also apply to other forms of abdominal/pelvic surgeries such as hysterectomy and exploratory laparotomy. Please email me at: charlotte@restorativeostomysolutions.com for specific questions and I can help you determine if this course is the right fit for you!

What if I am a healthcare provider or a family member of someone with an ostomy?

ANYONE who is interested in this content is welcome to take the course. For licensed health providers: I provide more specific courses targeted at working with individuals with ostomies. Please contact me for that information.

What if I want a refund?

You have 30 days from when you purchase to request a refund. I will provide one and just will ask you to provide feedback so that I can learn and continue to make this course the best it can be.

Is this relevant even if I've had an ostomy for years?

Yes! Because many individuals are educated in these topics, people who've lived with an ostomy for years will find value in the content.

If I take this course, am I receiving Occupational Therapy services from Charlotte?

No. In this course, an Occupational Therapist (Charlotte) provides general education strategies and answers your questions about the educational program. However, this is not a substitute for individual or group occupational therapy services. Charlotte is licensed to provide OT services in the State of Alaska. More details can be found in the course medical disclaimer.
